Training Camps

Lilleshall National Sports Centre has long been recognised as a superb Training Camp venue for many sports both home and abroad. This reputation was further bolstered by the Centre’s inclusion in the British Olympic Association’s official Training Camp Guide for London 2012 for numerous Olympic and Paralympic sports. Lilleshall is also fully accessible to disabled sports training camp groups following a series of major refurbishments, and with the standard and range of facilities Lilleshall has to offer, our visitors are able to train to the highest standard all in one location, while we take care of everything else.

World Class Gymnastics Centre

Lilleshall boasts arguably the finest gymnastics training facility in the World offering a base for top level international sports camps. Being the home of British Gymnastics since the 1970’s, the Centre is well equipped to cater for all levels of gymnastic training camps. Many local clubs are also based at the Centre and the facilities also include a pitted gymnasium.

World Class Archery Centre

Being the home of Archery GB, Lilleshall has a dedicated archery centre for both indoor and outdoor high performance archery training camps. This is further complemented by the Centre’s archery event facilities for both indoor and outdoor tournaments.

Fitness and Conditioning Training Camps

As an English institute of Sport network site, and former home to the British Weight Lifters’ Association, Lilleshall has a world class dedicated fitness and conditioning suite on site making it the perfect location for fitness training camps. Lilleshall is also a superb event venue for weightlifting; with purpose built staged competition/spectator areas incorporated into one of the indoor sports halls and a dedicated facility with five weightlifting platforms.

Indoor Sports Camps

Whether it’s badminton or netball, squash or cricket, you are sure to find what you are looking for. With numerous sports halls, the centre is able to accommodate a variety of indoor sports accessible to all ages and abilities. Whether you want to participate as part of a team or just fancy a social game with friends, it can all be done here.

Outdoor

Nine grass pitches (4 floodlit) are situated within 35 acres of beautiful outdoor estate, and this area can also be set up for a range of outdoor events and archery tournaments. The Centre also has 2 floodlit water-based synthetic pitches and a British Orienteering Federation approved orienteering course set out within the Hall’s extensive grounds.

Relaxation

Here at Lilleshall we realise that relaxation and refuelling are just as important when it comes to sporting achievement. That is why we have accommodation on-site and plenty of catering facilities to suit all requirements including a well appointed bar, restaurant and residents lounge area to relax in after a tough day's training.
