ArcheryLilleshall has undergone major redevelopment of Sutherland Hall to give our GB archers the best chance for Olympic and Paralympic success in 2012. GB archer’s will have access to exciting new and refurbished range facilities and state of the art analysis equipment. Support for the athletes will also be significantly improved with the conversion of new onsite offices to house staff from the Performance Unit.
The redevelopment consists of: - New outdoor archery range (70m) with a covered technical area
- Refurbished indoor range (70m) with viewing area where state of the art high speed cameras will be used for expert analysis
- New permanent technical video analysis areas on both ranges with fixed speed cameras and improved access for Paralympic archers
- The outdoor range meets FITA competition field orientation to mirror the conditions archers will face at the Olympics
- A new reception, two offices and two interview rooms
- Improved access to the existing onsite class room
- New offices and improved communications for staff to enhance support for archers.
